Ron Rau has more than 25 years of expertise in the polymer industry, recycling industry, and composites industries. He can assist you in solving sourcing, supply, sales, separation, and complex process issues you may encounter. Ron has vast experience and passion in designing, building, procuring, hiring, and running complex processes in the EU, UK, and across Asia. Ron has been named on multiple patents, which include complex separation of materials including thermoplastics, metallics, fibers, rubbers, cellulose, etc.

Bob Render has been working in recycling and sustainable endeavors since the age of 13. He started in the family scrap metal business, then started a plastic recycling business, Maine Plastics – which grew to become one of the largest recyclers in North America. He later created Lakeside 360 Partners to work with recyclers and industrial companies to develop resource management programs for consumer products and medical device companies. In 2015 Bob joined Ravago Recycling Group, where he works with customers to incorporate recycled content in their products and close the loop to re-use their own scrap. He also supplies the fast-growing chemical recycling segment with feedstocks and provides off take opportunities.

Andy Brewer leads the association’s efforts in advocating for the growth of sustainability in the plastics industry by managing the PLASTICS Recycling Committee, promoting recycling development through the New End Market Opportunities program, and managing the Zero Net Waste recognition program. Andy joined plastics in September of 2020 and prior to that he worked six years as a program manager in injection molding. Andy graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Global Manufacturing Engineering Technology.

Jean Jordan joined Nexus in 2015 and brings over 30 years of experience as a focused, disciplined manager and leader. Prior to Nexus, Jean worked in the education space fostering student growth and development while driving institutional change and advancement through new programming and engagement. Jean earned a history degree from Stetson University and holds an MEd from Georgia State University.

Peylina Chu is chemical engineer with 20+ years of experience who is passionate about ESG and EHS. She works with multinational companies to strategically integrate ESG and EHS into their business operations, reducing risk and bringing business value to their organization. Using her experience with organizational change and technical expertise, she helps companies develop practical solutions that bring meaningful long-term benefits. Peylina leads ESG Business Strategy at Antea Group and also serves as Executive Director for the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council (www.hprc.org) as well as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Inogen Environmental Alliance (www.inogenalliance.com), an alliance of global EHS and sustainability consultants.
